Dr. Shamsi Bhanji is a long-time resident of the North Seattle area and has been practicing dentistry since 1998. She is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Pediatric Dentistry. Her dedication to children and her continued commitment to dental education have earned her recognition as a leader in her field. She has received the top national award for research from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has held office as the President of the Washington State Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She also has a high level of commitment to keeping abreast of new developments in technology in dentistry. She consistently attends educational courses all over the globe. In 2011 she was one of the select few invited to travel with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry People to People Oral Health Delegation to China. There she collaborated with oral health providers in Beijing and Guiyang to understand their philosophy, care and culture.

Her areas of focus include all areas of prevention, treatment and special needs, and she believes in using the latest advancements in dental technology to deliver the best possible care to her patients. Outside of the office, you’ll find Dr. Bhanji enjoying tennis, cycling, practicing yoga, traveling and living life to the fullest.
